One thing I learned about myself many years ago is that if I don’t believe in something, I can’t sell it. That’s why I am not trying to sell you life insurance. I’m not saying there isn’t a place for life insurance, including whole life insurance. But I would certainly never sell whole life insurance as an investment vehicle, and I always recommend people who are eligible for term life to take term life and use the difference in premiums for something besides paying the insurance company to borrow your money.
